Foundation in Sculpture (12 months)

A studio-immersive year building strong fundamentals across observation, structure, and material handling. You will progress from drawing and measuring to clay modeling and stone carving, with visits to museums and working studios.

  • Modules: Drawing for sculptors, armature building, clay portrait, limestone carving
  • Crits: Weekly faculty critiques and quarterly external reviews

Wax chasing before bronze casting

Bronze Casting Pathway

Plan, mold, and cast your work with our foundry partners. Learn gating strategy, wax chasing, ceramic shell, pour day protocols, and patina chemistry. Finish with a supervised patina lab and portfolio-ready photography.

  • Includes two foundry days and patina workshop
  • Max 6 artists per cohort for safety and depth

Yes. Our admissions team provides documentation and timelines; we also host pre-departure webinars for U.S. students.

Can I ship work back to the U.S.?

We help coordinate crating and shipping. Works are photographed and condition-reported before transit.

What prior experience is required?

Foundation requires basic drawing skills and a portfolio showing commitment. Masterclasses welcome experienced practitioners.
